INSPIRATION

Having taken such an extended break from creating Art, I felt the need to explore unique Subjects. My approach needed to be fresh, out of the box. Most importantly, I couldn't be afraid to fail. Over the years, I began to have a more clear understanding of what would fit in the Style I created. It was time to create a new Style without deviating too far from my previous Works.

EDITING

These types of Photographs are rare in my Collection. This Piece did not require Editing in Adobe Camera Raw or PhotoShop CC. I tried to brighten the Highlights, lift the Shadows, tweak the Texture and Color Temperature. All of these efforts took the Capture in the wrong Direction.

Ultimately, I Ordered the Test Print without Edits on FujiFlex Paper and it was spot on. The Capture only needed my Signature. Perhaps, this Rarity is why I insisted on offering this Piece as a Limited Edition. Only a total of 50 Prints in various Sizes are Available.

FEEDBACK

Beyond my Comfort Zone is a chance to Create the best Work I ever have. I may not recognize my Style in certain Pieces moving forward. However, continuing to Explore and Develop my Craft can only lead to more Success despite the chances of Failure.

During the Creation Process, you can't think about how well the Work will (or will not) Sale. You can't think about the Competitions you want to Enter or the Exhibitions you want to Submit to. You simply have to focus on Creating good Work. If the Work is good, everything else will fall into place.
