Ten Years of Contemporary Art Photography

Featuring “Scots Song” by Charlotte Hoather.

Hi,

It has been such a whirlwind of a Journey. When I first began in March 2008, I had little idea of where the road would lead. Some days, I still have questions about where I’m heading. However, this year I have made the most significant progress in terms of refining my Craft. Now, it’s time to push the boundaries and reach the place I’ve always wanted to be.

I want to thank Charlotte Hoather for allowing me to use my favorite Song of hers to help create the feel of this Presentation. She has been leaving Comments on my previous WordPress Blog Posts since December 2013 and remained a Top Follower since then. It’s odd that we’ve never met, but she has visited New York City after traveling from her home in London.

The passion that she has for her Profession made a great impression on me. It also helped to push me forward when my Success seemed to significantly slip away from me over the years. It taught me to value people’s support and stay around people with a similar mindset even if their Profession is different from mine.

I hope to take another leap of Faith. I hope to have enough Faith left to drastically change my Life. I do. I am. And I’ve learned so much. I’ve made plenty of mistakes. I have regrets and things I wish I could change, but can’t go back in time to reverse them. I have failed, fallen, and gotten back up to try again. I trust that through all of this, God has a place for me. I just want to have more fun along the way.

Sincerely,
Eric Christopher Jackson
