House & Garden Magazine UK gives Artists an opportunity to showcase their Work in this Section of each Issue. The 3-Month Marketing Campaign continues as the July 2026 Issue has Released.

For the July Issue, I decided to feature "Dream of Red" because it was one of three Pieces that the Editor highlighted during the Inquiry process. I was reluctant to share such a dated Artwork (Captured in 2009) yet, this audience would see it for the first time. It's new to them and it fits the Style of Art the Magazine wants to promote.

"Dream of Red" was Captured in Newport Beach, CA. during a time in my Life when I needed a fresh start. A new beginning. I had never lived outside of Florida; the experience was scary. Yet, moving across the continent was exactly what I needed to have a clean slate.

Seeing the Pacific Ocean for the first time was also an incredible experience. I fell in love with the deep blue tones of water. However, I rarely touched the ocean because the water was freezing cold. It is the complete opposite of the warm waters of the Atlantic Ocean.

Many of my Captures during this time have been lost to crashed desktops and corrupted hard drives. Still, I have a few memories that have survived and am happy people still gravitate towards them.
