Really a pleasure to meet you all last night. To address the questions I received the most, I use the Canon 5D Mark II. Standard Lens: 24-105mm. I actually don't think it matters what kind of Camera Body you use unless you really what to shoot Full Frame. (Most Cameras automatically crop the scene you capture).
To make your Photographs more Vibrant ("POP") ..Yes, a more expensive Camera improves the quality, but ..first, use the correct White Balance. A simple step that's easy to forget. Also, use a Polarizer Filter, which boosts Color and cuts down Glare from sunlight.
Editing🤔that's tough. Trial & Error. Develop your own Style, which will naturally evolve over time. I will say to those of you with older Model computers ..you won't be able to run PhotoShop CC. It chews up too much RAM. I suggest Lightroom, or my Bestie, Adobe Camera Raw until you can upgrade hardware.

Finally, these are Photographs, not Paintings. Yes, I'm sure.😅My Style is inspired, in part, by Paintings, but that's all...
