Hello,

My name is Eric Christopher Jackson. I would like to Welcome you to my growing Collection of Art & Writing. First, I feel the need to tell you a little about myself.

Born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida (about 25 miles North of Miami) I took an interest in Art after viewing many of my Mother's sketches of Comic Book Characters. In high school, I took classes in Painting, Ceramics, and Drafting in an attempt to find my own gift. Often times, I would visit the local Galleries on Las Olas Blvd. to be inspired by Fine Art Painting, Sculptures, and Mixed Media pieces.

Yet, when I purchased my first point-and-shoot camera in 2004 is when I began to consider Digital Photography. After tumultuous years as a young adult, I began to find my bearings in my early 30s and focused on starting a Career as an Artist.

In 2011, I graduated from The Art Institute of California - Orange County with an Associate's Degree in Graphic Design. However, I felt attending a University more focused on Fine Art would have been a better choice.

Fall 2011, I took a Semester in Screenwriting at Azusa Pacific University and rekindled my love for Storytelling. Today, there is a juggle between creating Art and Creative Writing. I would like to share much of this Work with you.

It will take quite a bit of time to add my Work to this Website and present it in the best way possible. Still, I am willing and ready for the challenge.
