ART UpCLOSE is a marketing platform featuring the work of contemporary artists working in various mediums and disciplines.  While promoting awareness of their work among established and new collectors, we make it available at competitive prices. 

Unlike other online projects, ART UpCLOSE extends its presence to art fairs in New York, Los Angeles, Miami and Monte Carlo and has an exhibition space in the Lower East Side of Manhattan — the most exciting art destination of New York City.  It is open to the public Wednesday-Saturday, 12 to 6 PM.

Note: The Gallery initially contacted me in October 2019 expressing interest in my Work. My Career dream has been to have an NYC Rep., yet it’s been elusive. Not simply because of rejection letters, but also not being able to take advantage of several opportunities.

I was frustrated, heartbroken in some cases. Still, this particular Gallery continued to follow my Work and send me notifications of new opportunities. Ultimately, I had to be patient, continue to Work, continue to sacrifice without really knowing if my dream was just a crazy dream or not.

Thank you to Mr. Bernstein whose timely messages really lifted me up during the moments I felt discouraged. It’s like God sends people along the Journey to help you stay focused and moving in the right direction.

As for my Work, I want to continue to get better. Experiment. Try new approaches. Have more fun during the process of Creating …definitely. Instead of treating this like a Job, it should be an Adventure. A time to Discover. Hoping that the Virtual Exhibitions go well next year, I would like to have physical Space in the Gallery by 2023.

That is the challenging part of having a Vision. It only exists in your mind, constantly begging to by brought into Reality often without giving details of how exactly to do this. I’m learning as I go. Focusing on what I can do opposed to what I can’t. -ecj
